Young artists will present famous operatic arias prepared during professor Claudia Galli's vocal masterclass.

                                                      Biographical notes

Constance Goffinet has been a student at the Conservatory of Esch-sur-Alzette since 2012. There, she has pursued a comprehensive musical education, earning a First Prize in Music Theory under the guidance of Mrs. Goeres and Mr. Weimerskirsch, an Advanced Diploma in Piano with Mr. Clement, a First Distinction in Organ with Mr. Breisch, and an Advanced Diploma in Keyboard Sight-Reading with Mrs. Wiltgen and Mrs. Duprel. She also studied Written Harmony with Mr. Wiltgen, obtaining a Second Distinction. In September 2017, she began studying classical voice with Mr. Stammet and continued her vocal training with Mrs. Claudia Moulin from 2019 onwards, earning a First Distinction. In 2024, she began her studies in Lyric Art and successfully completed her preparatory examination this year.

Inès Rieff is a multifaceted musician whose passion for music has flourished through both oboe playing and singing. Holding a Master’s degree in Oboe from the Conservatorium Maastricht, she has developed extensive experience in orchestral and solo performance, chamber music, and improvisation under the guidance of her teachers. Currently, Inès teaches oboe at the Conservatoire d’Esch-sur-Alzette in Luxembourg and is also an active member of the singing class of Claudia Galli. While teaching, playing, or singing, Inès’ current quest is to create a fusional space, taking her audiences and students on a journey with her, to themselves.

Julie Thilges is a 26-year old musician from Luxembourg. At the age of 7, she began taking her first lessons in music theory at the Conservatoire d’Esch-sur-Alzette, before taking up her first instrument: the piano, in the class of Lynn Orazi. Later, she would also take lessons in the cello and various other instrumental and theoretical courses, before she started classical singing with Mariette Kemmer and then Claudia Galli. In high school, she majored in music studies, before going to Amsterdam where she would complete a bachelor’s in literature and linguistics, and a master’s in communication. During that time, she was a member of the VU-Koor under the lead of Dody Soetanto, where she kept singing while taking a break from her lessons in Luxembourg. When she started her work as a journalist in TV broadcasting back in Luxembourg in 2024, she resumed her singing lessons again with Claudia Galli.

Nick Engel was born in 1995 in Esch-sur-Alzette and it became clear at an early age that music would play a central role in his life. He began his musical studies at the Conservatoire d’Esch-sur-Alzette, where he first studied trombone. He later specialized in bass trombone and completed his Master’s degree in Bass Trombone in 2024 at the Hochschule für Musik und Tanz Köln. He is currently employed as a professional bass trombonist with the Military Band of Luxembourg. Alongside his instrumental career, he has always maintained a strong interest in opera and vocal performance. Motivated by this passion, he decided to pursue formal vocal training and, since 2023, has been studying in the class of Claudia Moulin. Combining his expertise as a brass musician with his dedication to singing, he continues to expand his artistic horizons and explore new forms of musical expression
