The focus will be on 19th-century guitar repertoire in duet with wind and string instruments.\u00a0Afterward, they will present these works to the public in the Young Artists Concerts I and II, which will take place on August 4th and 6th, respectively.<\/span><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"64\" data-end=\"246\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">More than half of the classical guitar repertoire from the 19th century consists of music for guitar and other instruments, with a large portion written for two instruments (Duetto).<\/span><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"248\" data-end=\"331\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">This seminar\u2013workshop explores that repertoire, focusing specifically on duets for:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"333\" data-end=\"505\">\n<li data-start=\"333\" data-end=\"400\">\n<p data-start=\"335\" data-end=\"400\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">Woodwinds and guitar (flute, recorder, oboe, clarinet, bassoon)<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"401\" data-end=\"463\">\n<p data-start=\"403\" data-end=\"463\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">Bowed string instruments and guitar (violin, viola, cello)<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"464\" data-end=\"484\">\n<p data-start=\"466\" data-end=\"484\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">Piano and guitar<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"485\" data-end=\"505\">\n<p data-start=\"487\" data-end=\"505\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">Voice and guitar<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p data-start=\"507\" data-end=\"732\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">The workshop is structured in two parts:<\/span><br data-start=\"547\" data-end=\"550\" \/><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">a) <strong data-start=\"553\" data-end=\"568\">Theoretical<\/strong> \u2013 covering core repertoire, essential performance practices, and historical methods<\/span><br data-start=\"652\" data-end=\"655\" \/><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">b) <strong data-start=\"658\" data-end=\"673\">Performance<\/strong> \u2013 involving preparation and presentation of selected works<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline; font-size: 18pt;\"><strong>Biographical Notes<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">Dimitrios Tsoutsikas studied music performance (Master&#8217;s Degree) at the Conservatorium Maastricht -Zuyd University (class C. Marchione), at the Athens Conservatory (class K. Kotsiolis), at Lamia Municipal Conservatory (class F. Violatou, D. Kontogiannis). Mr. Tsoutsikas presents and teaches original music for classical guitar, chamber music, as well as 19th century music with period instrument (copy R. Lacote 1830).
