Kalliopi Rigou & Aimilios Bartzis violin

Kalliopi Rigou was born in Athens, 2003. She is currently a senior in violin (Orfeio Conservatory, under D. Semsis). She also takes piano lessons and advanced theory lessons (class of B. Gravani). For 8 consecutive years she has participated with the Camerata Youth Orchestra as a regular member and as a soloist. She has participated in seminars with Daniel Blumenthal, Thibault Vieux and Ariadne Daskalakis. 

Aimilios Bartzis was born in Elefsina in 2001. In 2007 he started violin lessons with the professor and violinist Koumatis Michael. From 2013 until now he attends classes at the Music School of Ilio. In the years 2012-13, within the framework of the “Month of Folklore” program of the Municipality of Elefsina, he participated by performing musical pieces with the violin. He is a member of the “Young Artists” orchestra. On April 28, 2014 he participated in a charity event opening the one organized by the Region of West Attica in order to strengthen the Pain Center “Jenny Karezi” in which also participated many well-known singers and actors. On 4/4/2015 he received the third prize for the composition of the song “The key of Love” organized by H.O.N. In mid-February 2016 he played at the hotel “Elefsinia” in Elefsina as part of an event of the Association of Volunteers. In the summers of 2016-17 he played classical violin at children’s painting events of the τουGroup for the UNESCO Speech Arts and Sciences of Greece. Since 2015, he has been taught by the Chief Musician Arabidis Georgios, conductor of ELS, music composition, piano and orchestra conducting principles.

The students have been taught by professor Dimitris Semsis.
